Time to write about PPC, politician political correctness.

Brodkorb today in Strib wrote:

Mike McFadden, who ran for the U.S. Senate in 2014, confirmed tonight he is "exploring" the possibility of running for Congress in Minnesota's Second Congressional District in 2016.

McFadden, a businessman from Sunfish Lake, is contemplating a run for a seat in the U.S. House of Representatives currently held by Republican Congressman John Kline. Kline announced last Thursday he would not seek re-election to Congress next year.

In an email tonight, McFadden said he was "very surprised by Congressman Kline's announcement," adding, he has "not set a timetable for a decision" about running for Congress.

The I read Burns at MPP posting [ending link in original]:

So the National Republican Congressional Committee clearly very much wants a legitimate [CD8] candidate. Will it be Stewart Mills III, again? He’s not sure, yet. From August 28:

“We do have a magnificent America, we do have a country we can be proud of,” Mills added. “But we need to make sure we have leadership in Washington D.C. that is going to keep America great. That is going to stand up for our value systems, not just here domestically, but also abroad.”

In his remarks Thursday, Mills added he has not decided on whether he will run for office again in the 2016 election.

“I’m not exactly sure what the next election cycle holds for me,” Mills said. “But we do, in whatever capacity, have to stand up for our magnificent America.”

Wordier apparently than McFadden, but Mills has in hand the same PPC script.

The animal world is so much more direct and legitimate, without obscure and amusing manners.

You do not see the alpha wolf or bullmoose peeing on top of where all the other wolves/moose have peed and then saying, "No decision yet on whether I am claiming it as my territory."

Directness in politics is what, poison? Some might say more of it might be refreshing, especially without ancillary backstabbing by "unaffiliated" PACs.

The alpha wolf knows his pac pack. Do you really believe the politician does not?
