What is going on with the Generals and two BIG shoes dropping in the last few days. Outside of any party's election posturing. Is this the tip of an iceberg, or two bad apples, each with lots of shoulder stars?

STEVE SIMON -- Minnesota's next Secretary of State.
Favorite MN Statute: MS Ch. 554, "Free Speech; Participation in Government." Favorite MN case: Moore v Hoff, 821 N.W.2d 591 (Minn. App. 2012) (alt. online link). Litigated by Paul Godfread. Attorney John Borger wrote as amicus in Moore v. Hoff, and won Hunter v. Hartman, 545 N.W.2d 699 (Minn.App. 1996). Apart from that: Why settle for Obama's or Hillary's lame policies, with Wellstone and Elizabeth Warren as paradigms? Forget letting right wingers define and argue a narrow band of politics remote from Wellstone. Move the debate leftward for a saner, more humane and more decent state, nation and world.
