Sidebar changes. A book for those in the Sixth Congressional District, and a "copyright" button. And in wrapping up, a Two-Putt Tommy shout out.

The book speaks for itself, and you can buy it NOW. So explore the sidebar item-links.

The "copyright" button was added after seeing a similar thing on the Two-Putt Tommy blog. This link.

Tommy Johnson, who I am told really is primarily a single or two-putt golfer - a skill level I never reached, is "tossing his hat into the ring." Follow that link, read all about it. This is especially newsworthy for Crabgrass readers who are within that part of new SD 35 which is in CD 3, where Tommy is campaigning, especially those who will be DFL CD 3 delegates.

COPYRIGHT: If you think copyright policy statements and considerations are overreaching for a blog such as Crabgrass, the truth is copyright trolls are real and do attempt shakedowns. If you doubt, try a Google=Righthaven. Or  Google= Righthaven victims. Or Google=pam spaulding righthaven

While Righthaven was in a class by itself as to aggressiveness of their business model and behavior, it did take the Las Vegas area federal courts a bit of time to recognize what they were presented, and to shut it down. And in the interim a trail of victims were fleeced unfairly. The ultimate fate of Righthaven may deter others, but the interim cash flow possibilities of copyright trolling allure may prove more of an inducement, and overcome deterrent effects, particularly if the key persons in the Righthaven operation escape with only a judicial wrist slap.
