The brownfield remediation grant application summary online, here [don't panic it is not more Ramsey or Minnesota hijinks, it's Cincinnati OH]. And once remediated, what have our favorite dynamic duo in mind? Wanna guess?
Hint: here.
Time frame: public hearing notice re the brownfield effort; Release Date:June 16, 2011
Plans and dreams, here.
Finding the Bankruptcy Court (reminiscent of Flaherty-fun in North Carolina), here?
Did I mention, a penchant for exploiting opportunities associated with distressed properties? BEFORE:

And, same link, here's a deja vu, all over again hummer, ya betcha; with of all things, local government bankrolling a bundle:
The City will provide up to $9.9 million in tax increment financing to build a new road, improve existing roads, and for related improvements. The City is also partnering with the developer on a $3 million grant for environmental remediation and demolition from the Ohio Department of Development's Clean Ohio Revitalization Fund.
"This is another example of how the City is partnering with companies and developers to implement GO Cincinnati, our strategic plan for economic development, said City Manager Milton Dohoney, Jr., "This is about two things. First, revitalizing our neighborhoods by cleaning up underutilized property, and second, it is about growing our tax base so that we can provide basic services for our citizens."
Same old Risk Shifting? Same old trotting out a "growing our tax base so we can provide basic services" cliche?
What else would you expect? Good sense?
Get real.
Okay, now, AFTER [a rendering, not anything as yet real and on the ground and rented out at hoped-for rates - and a lead-in spiel]:

Phrases atop that website, OAKLEY NOW --- OAKLEY A GREAT PLACE TO LIVE
Project name [more deja vu]: The Residence at Oakley Station
It's hard to tell from the renderings, but it appears town fathers there in Oakley did not buy Flaherty a free parking ramp as part of this Ohio adventure. That's inferred, judging from the ample sized outdoor parking lot drawings peppered among the rental building drawings, lead image. Not as great a place as Ramsey I suppose. Luxury residents at Oakley Station would have to scrape windshields in the winters there, yes/no?
The Residence at the COR, The Residence at Oakley Station, the government subsidized-bankrolled gamble is akin; so why not the name?
