Bottom line - Somali immigrants are recent and seen as discordant by those not attuned to immigration history Timmer discusses. It is a good read.

Being ignorant of candidates and issues there, I leave the link and tout it as Timmer always writes well.

All politics is local, and Crabgrass has posted its own very local news on occasion. You have to. It matters. Of the most general interest, the two Timmer items about Demuth.
