Tom Emmer did exactly that in abusing the franking privilege with a big headlined slick surfaced 8 x 11-1/2 item polluting the family mailbox headlined "CRACKING DOWN ON FRAUD IN MINNESOTA" which is double speak for fucking people.

WAKE UP TO THE HORSESHIT, CITIZENS.
THE BILLIONAIRES ARE AFTER IT ALL, WHILE DISBANDING YOUR GOVERNMENT'S PROTECTIVE APPARATUS TO MAKE THE U.S. OF A. THE EQUIVALENT OF PUTIN'S FRAUD INFESTED OLIGARCHY WHERE WEALTH HAMPERS CITIZENRY. PROSPERITY FOR THE FEW, MISERY FOR ALL OTHERS IS NOT WHAT HAVING AN INTELLIGENT VOTE IS ABOUT.
FIRST, RISE UP AGAINST THE TWO PARTY SYSTEM, AND TAKE ONE OR THE OTHER AS A PEOPLE'S PARTY, (BERNIE LIVES), AND THEN BURY THE OTHER PARTY WITH VOTES AGAINST THEM AND AGAINST THE STATUS QUO TWO-PARTY EVIL OF BOTH THE SAME.
Because fraud is a crime, we call what we don't like "FRAUD" and go about "eliminating it" which in fact is elimination of the checks and balances against fraud.
And remember - if you hold the power you can get away with it. UNTIL STOPPED.
Elon is merely a tool to wave about while the pack of prol-haters do their thing.
Trump is the source of the evil that Musk fronts. Trump needs the purge. Trump's enablers, such as Mr. Emmer need the purge. Do it. 2026 election time cannot come soon enough, but it will come.
CAST OUT THE FRAUDS
It is the Tom Emmers of our nation who are working at screwing people and calling it "anti-fraud." A nest of termites silently undermining foundations of a nation.
..............................................
It being a coordinated effort is the circumstantial inference I draw from Musk lying and the lying Emmer mailer, and I would wager other citizens having - suffering - Republican Congressional Members are getting the same horseshit mailer.
Sure, I could be wrong. Two data points alone make inference hard, so look around you for further circumstantial evidence. "Fighting Fraud" is not a synonym for the people getting fucked over time and again. Unless you can sell that thought to folks.
____________UPDATE______________
HONESTY IS THE BEST POLICY
the Emmer mailer
That mailer rails in part against the Feeding our Future fraud in Minnesota.
History teaches the Minnesota Department of Education, an established and frugally funded state "bureau," discovered the fraud and shut it down in 2021. However -
A judge appointed by the last and worst Republican governor our state's suffered under, Tim Pawlenty, undid the bureau's good work; bungling the situation badly to where the feds had to be pushed to take over. That judge's work left our Democratic Governor Walz "speechless" to where in the week the feds filed suit in Sept, 2022 the story was:
Gov. Tim Walz suggested there should be an investigation into a decision made by a district judge to restart payments from the Minnesota Department of Education (MDE) to Feeding Our Future, which is now the subject of the largest alleged pandemic fraud case in the United States.
The U.S. Department of Justice this week charged 48 people in connection to the $250 million scheme to defraud the Federal Child Nutrition Program during the COVID-19 pandemic, including Feeding Our Future CEO Aimee Bock.
MDE stopped payments to Feeding our Future when suspicions about the nonprofit grew, but the organization sued, with Ramsey County Judge John Guthmann ruling that MDE lacked the authority to stop payments, and in June 2021 held the department in contempt of court for not processing more than 140 applications from Feeding Our Future.
Speaking at a press conference Thursday, Walz said the decision by the judge left him "speechless," calling the ruling "unbelievable."
"Obviously, we had to honor it but at that point I said, we have got to continue to push the federal government and the FBI to do the investigation," he added.
The FBI took the case on in April 2021, with Walz saying his office has not been able to comment on the case since then due to the active investigation.
Walz continued to say he "would hope" there's an investigation into the judge's decision, given the U.S. Attorney's Office of Minnesota has filed charges against four-dozen people accused of the massive defrauding of the COVID relief program.
Walz's comments have been criticized by his gubernatorial opponent this November, Scott Jensen, along with other Republicans who said MDE should have appealed the judge's ruling.
But in a statement, MDE said that the department was also facing "mounting legal fees" after the judge ruled in favor of Feeding our Future, and that continuing to fight the case could have tipped off the nonprofit that it was under federal investigation.
So, the fuck-up in things was a Pawlenty judge having his head in a dark place.
BOTTOM LINE: A funded and sufficient bureau found waste, fraud, and abuse and was stymied by a Republican judge appointed by the mess Tim Pawlenty is, and that judge became the perp who made things greatly terrible and disordered when the fan had loaded up. TRUTH. Mr. Emmer's party delayed justice. And the wheels work slowly in the courts to where the main fraudster is currently on trial, today, with a jury to decide. If only Pawlenty had appointed a different judge, who knows.
TRUTH: Had that Republican judge not done as he did, Feeding Our Future would have been cut off from funds and in a position to have to appeal. Not so.
Republicans gummed up the works and now Emmer abuses the franking privilege to bitch about the thing, and notes he's requested MDOHS bureau investigative papers to cherry pick and second guess and piss and moan; all horseshit politics, as usual, from the crypto maven, Mr. Emmer.
MR. EMMER, is into mischief in league with his party's Mr. Musk, using a "waste, fraud and abuse" total hoax to weaken government oversight on businesses such as those Mr. Musk runs. Foisting off policy to cut the people's public agents' funding and staff, so that Musk's types and cohorts can more easily run amok, unchecked, as Mr. Trump wants things in his effort to Russianize our way of doing things to favor the oligarchs over the populace.
End of story.
