But cut some slack. Notice there is no ending "I am Doug Wardlow and I approve of this message."
That means outside money is paying for this. Whose outside money? You tell me? The press should be asking that. And, after seeing that and not being able to easily identify the funding, what do you suppose Doug Wardlow's position on dark money in election influence buying is?
Do you need to guess?
You use it, silently accept it, does that suggest you are blessing it?
When vile dark money does stuff like this; what do you expect the intent is to buy, besides advertising time on TV? Nothing? Something? What?
For all I know Bob Kroll might have funded the thing. He shows up, one of nine.
UPDATE: Wait one second. It's the dude's own campaign money. That verbal acknowledgement must be required only for federal candidates; or is Wardlow breaking the law? You tell me. In any event, a screen capture at the end tells the tale. Click the image from the video ending to read the footer. It is Wardlow, himself, going super-negative. Scary voice-over and all. No help needed from anybody else. He carries his own water.

Vile is as vile does. No two ways about that. But we cannot blame anonymous dark money, this time. That would be wrong. It's not that. This time. Wardlow's campaign money "invested" in the production of the thing. That is disclosed in the ending image footer.
So now, you tell me, who pays the freight to run that thing onto your TV screen? Once or frequently? It costs money, so, whose?
FURTHER UPDATE: You can post all the stuff like this with cheesey background music, but when it comes to words, character assassination rules. Is this the best Republicans have to offer as top lawyer for all of us in the state?
WOW! What an indictment. I see that "FAIR AND SAFE" sloganing and I want to be safe from people like Wardlow. Nowhere near my ballot choice.
