Link. A self-explanatory link.
Walz, being a First District Dem with all that entails, nonetheless deserves a second term.
He's been better than the Dayton-Tina pair, which was reelected.
Faint praise is praise. Remember that.
Tim Walz' failure to enthuse progressives has allowed the third party stalking horse to whinny. But the Jason Lewis - Mike Pence lesson looms. Don't elect a talking head radio or TV personality. It leads to mediocrity, or worse.
And do understand the third party candidate will only enhance GOP chances.
Erin Murphy, the caucus endorsed candidate years ago was my clear solid choice, and my belief is she'd have been a better governor. Surely she'd not have ended up with a stalking horse to her left. But Tim ran his primary contest and, Tim won.
Whoever the GOP candidate is, the odor of Trumpism will arise and linger.
Vote Walz. Bite the bullet and do it.
And if this appears a luke-warm endorsement, it is colder than that.
But it is a practical compromise. A necessary one.
