This to me is news. Not from any mainstream media, but from a formal source besides podcasting or such.

 I got onto Business Insider - Africa when posting about Libya Oil re Venezuela Oil and how Big Oil capital runs the game.

And this wowed me -

Trying to price oil other than in dollars got Saddam and Qadafi ousted and dead. 

Now, "mining" the item says, not oil specifically, but the implications are clear. 

 China to be reckoned with. Do you think Trump and little Marco are up to any answer? They'd need something better than how they'd all handled the Epstein files.

Raising the question, is the Venezuela oil putsch aimed at China buying and shipping oil out of there and through the Panama Canal, or by other paths? (As well as other outcomes, such as oil from there to the Texas and Louisiana Big Oil facilities being an Administration sop to Big Oil, which contributed much in the last election.)

UPDATE: One wonders, will Africa be part of China's sphere of influence as some envision world order, or will be be wide-open, take what you can get, but don't bump heads with others allowed to take what they can get, an understanding that way?
