Fox is fairly typical of anything Rupert Murdoch controls: he dumbs down the news to almost tabloid level, and then puts a conservative spin on it. It doesn't really say much for his opinion of the average conservative, does it? But Rupert Murdoch is a very rich man. He's obviously taken to heart what H.L. Menken once said: "Nobody's ever gone broke underestimating the intelligence of the general public."

It has to be true. I read it on the Internet.
