At least I believe it is the first. Denno is the Oak Grove council member contesting with Matt Look over who brings the strongest pot of tea to the party. Over who gets dumped into the harbor Tuesday, strong tea and all. Between two ultraconservatives, Denno may be the less provocative.
Click the image to enlarge and read. My hope, to make it a contest, would be to see Allison Lister going on to the general election; if not her, Tom Gamec. Ideally both.
Two ultracons going on would leave little to no differentiation.
_____________UPDATE_____________
Margaret Connolly emailed that on Denno's facebook page there was a dialog where in response to a direct question from Connolly of where he'd cut county spending his response was that he'd study the budget once elected and task department heads with deciding where they would trim budget. How is that different from Matt Look, other than Look is an incumbent who has chopped jobs and Denno a challenger who wants to chop jobs?
I could not find that dialog on Denno's facebook page before quitting looking because I dispise Facebook as something the Republicans use among themselves but little else, and of no redeeming social value. However, Denno is running against Met Council and Northstar; this link.
I like this better than Denno, better than this. That Look page does appear as if Look on his own website is addressing Denno, not me.
