Without the voodoo of lease revenue bonding, issued by the Ramsey EDA, the referendum-free building of the Norman castle [the opulently excessive new city hall] as was done could not have happened. That only happened by members of the EDA being complicit. EDA issued the bonds.
If EDA had said no, what then? They willingly facilitated the single most awful and shamefully done instance of decision making in Ramsey in years. Taxpayers were thrown to the wolves.
Now Tom Gamec wants to be on the EDA.
The entire question of this wasteful, profligate group's conduct in those circumstances, who did what and spoke how to whom, needs examination. Sunshine. Not merely new council persons talking in hallways or on the phone with others - Sunshine. Cleansing. Decontamination. Publicly naming names. Publicly describing roles.
