Defying Met Council stupidities --- A name change is probably a thought, but likely not an answer.

The concept is simple. Lake Elmo stood up to the stupidities of Met Council.

Now, Ham Lake appears set to stand up to the stupidities of Met Council.

From that we can at least consider renaming Ramsey, to Lake Ramsey Lake, that way doubling a likelihood the name change would lead to standing up to the stupidities of Met Council.

Yet, however named, Ramsey will be Ramsey, so the likely outcome of renaming it to Lake Ramsey Lake [note there is no lake to fit the change] is that a cadre will arise out of nowhere saying, now we have the name, we can now have our Port Authority.

Doubling zero is zero.

Back to square one.
