UPDATE: Can Emmer publicly talk without looking, as Trump also looks, as if he is talking down to people because he has little respect for them? It is either that, or he is limited. Either way, why cut him any slack? Doug Chapin is running against Emmer, and does not talk down to people. There is nothing bafoonish about Chapin. Chapin could do the job of hearing people say what they want, and seeing ways to provide it to them. It goes beyond a matter of style. It goes to seeing people on tenterhooks and saying that should not be, vs saying it's good for them because they don't get so uppity.
