UPDATE: Tariffs are a flat tax on consumption, the poorest consumers will suffer the most. Elon and Bezos will not feel a thing.

Graduated income and wealth taxes would work much, much better.

But this is billionaire policy. Not little guy policy. The electlon's over and the red caps will not matter, saying as well as anything, MAKE MY CLASS WEALTHIER MEN.

No vowels in the abbreviation, but aside from that, such a cap would fit Trump, and he should wear it.
