Incrementalism is better than no movement with negative intent.

Yes it is good to see Medicare upgraded, made better. Simple things Trump had four years to do, but he worked to tear down Obamacare, while doing nothing else but giving the rich yet another tax break.

Now, in a Harris Walz administration, Medicare for All can be added as a public option, with insurers free to compete, or to offer extended coverage beyond what would be provided by government. If the will is there, movement in that direction would be welcome. There are House and Senate Democrats who might wish to not go along, but shame them into wanting to be reelected, and it could happen.

If stymied, try! Make use of the bully pulpit once reaching it. Trump surely is intent and consistent in his opposition to healthcare benefits for people. He's been there four do-nothing years, and should be stopped from another foot-dragging chance.

He is against people having adequate healthcare, and would for such a reason prefer to talk of the border and pet eaters.

He is so transparent that way that you can see through him to JD Vance behind him, feeding him cues. JD whose wife left the big lawfirm life, to parent and be a paradigm for barefoot and pregnant, though right now she's neither. As far as we know.

JD, the extremist tail, wagging the dog. (Before it gets eaten by Haitians.)

Give me a break. Early voting has begun in Minnesota, where I live.
