Dan Burns has a post on Emmer, as Emmer's put his name into the Speaker lottery. Not favorable, but it seems Dan missed one key aspect of the man. Narcissist.

Dan's Left.mn post speaks for itself, i.e., no excerpt. Check it out.

Emmer, as a part of McCarthy's leadership team, which was dumped, seems to have a limited chance at the brass ring. It is as if the Gaetz putsch purged the team, and not merely the Coach/General Manager.

Apart from that, who, really is Tom Emmer? What rings his bell? For an answer Crabgrass reaches back to his failed but close bid for Governer of Minnesota, where he lost to Mark Dayton.

Emmer has put a photo montage of his campaigning on Flickr. The opening image is from that montage, where readers can pick up things from that image link, and scroll, to see Emmer enjoying campaigning attention, and from image-toimage readers can see a view of the Republican base in Minnesota, to which Emmer played.

Hopefully he keeps up public access. It is a photo documentary of a willing campaigner who accepted attention and the support of many.

Trump - has he endorsed Emmer or another? That question is apart from who Emmer is. Headlining "narcissist" is judgmental. Possibly incorrect. Readers are urged to check out the photo montage to have an insight into Emmer on the campaign trail, statewide. They may form a differing opinion.

The intent is not to trash Emmer, but to show him as he's shown himself. Since the failed 2010 statewide run, we have Emmer as House Rep. in MN CD6. The district is so Republican leaning that he's not really had to campaign as hard as he appears to have done in 2010 statewide.

Have a look. Search = Tom Emmer Flickr -- or start at that earlier mid-montage image, and scroll.

__________CORRECTION__________

To avoid confusion, there are two Emmer Flickr posts. The opening image is from "Tom Emmer - Joined 2009," while the link ending the post reaches "Tom Emmer - Joined 2014," (with the latter bloc having many more images, which Crabgrass has not explored). The statewide images are the 2009 set. Start there. Check the later set if you'd like.
