Whelan still serves out a term but in November the seat will be open. Hillebregt had strong support on the first ballot, but trailed, and Vikander gained endorsement, second ballot.
Vikander needs volunteer help now, and contributions for the inevitable costs of successful campaigning. Bill will be a strong campaigner and his doorknocking should gain votes once voters see his vision and his immediate hopes and aims. He will need volunteer help and he will need a level of support enabling him to get his name out, where in a suburban district Highway and road signs are a cost. Everyone who wants better representation than Whelan managed, with her agenda being what it was, should want to get to know Bill and what he would represent as his personal and family and community goals and ambitions.
The intent here is to contribute to Hillebregt initially now to lessen campaign costs he is left to absorb; but to modestly contribute a multiple of twenty-seven dollars to aid the Vikander effort.
