The simple question - and whether it has been asked or offered in some kind of settlement negotiations - if each is held to have to sit out four consecutive games [a presumption that's likely correct] could the team stagger the impact, with one out for two games, both out for two games, and the other out for a final two games, so that both are only out together for only two games?
If the intent of the suspensions is a punishment of the players, not the team, it would make sense for the league to allow it.
Does any reader have any insider insight - has such a thing arose previously, is there a league precedent?
If not, shouldn't the Vikings intervene at this point in pending litigation, for a clarification from the judge?
Why wait?
