Some may remember that Crabgrass noted that Thissen was the first officially declared candidate with Crabgrass reporting on his landing "running" with a first rate webpage from the start; this link; and this later item when Thissen and Bakk were the only two official candidates. Thissen has been active in covering areas of the state more than once, and in meeting people and raising funds. I wish I had all he's so far had to spend on travel, in my own little account, because I am certain it would be a tidy sum. His dedication and diligence to getting his message out, and meeting people throughout the State, has been outstanding.

John Marty - compassionate and fair health care - make it like fire protection where you do not buy firefighting coverage from high-profit firms.

Marty presents what he stands for as no mystery, he does not make it that, nor does he couch positions in emotion-laden words designed to inflame passions and divisive feelings or thoughts [see following post for one who operates that counterproductive way]. Anyone familiar with John Marty's years in office knows the essential points, as noted in the screenshot directly above from his "ISSUES" page, where the text lists the basic points and the sidebar gives you an issue-by-issue opportunity to know exactly what the man believes and will work tirelessly to achieve. He is a good person, and a good choice for Minnesota's next governor.

The GOP plan for healthcare and revenue - don't get sick and don't raise taxes. Leave things to dog eat dog, and to one right wing and a prayer.

That Bachmann woman again. Well she is the modern day GOP voice, some watching her on FOX, watching FOX to see her. Back when she ran for Congress in 2004 it was reported, but not widely by the mainstream media, that she and husband Marcus did not provide a penny of healthcare coverage for their Christian healing clinic workers. Pray you don't get sick must have been the bottom-line oriented family thoughts about their workers.

I am unaware if the Bachmann clinic turned away Medicaid patients. Big government, all that, did they take Medicaid money? Do they? Are the clinic workers still not provided health coverage? Anyone with an answer please send an email or leave a comment.

Mark Dayton - A tax policy that most of us would benefit from immensely.

Those making multimillion dollar salary, bonus, and stock plan dollars every year; well they are in the upper 10%, and if they pay more so that children have good schools and citizens have healthcare when they need it and so the government can work on boosting the economy and well-paying jobs for the other 90%; bless them for their giving and not evading the taxes. Those moving to North Dakota, well the citizens can wise up there too, and follow the Dayton tax policy.
