If anything we hope many wised up to falsehood personified: 06/10/2020 04:30 AM EDT As President Donald Trump leans on religion to reconnect with his political base ahead of the November election, most Americans dismiss the notion that he himself is a man of faith. Only 27 percent of registered voters in a new POLITICO/Morning Consult poll said they somewhat or strongly agree that Trump himself is religious, while 55 percent somewhat or strongly disagree. Among subgroups, just over a third of all Christians view the president as religious (50 percent do not), while 23 percent of Catholics and 18 percent of independents see him that way. Evangelicals were more likely to view Trump as religious: 40 percent said they agreed that he is, while 33 percent disagreed. Ideological conservatives and Republicans were the only demographics in which a majority of respondents characterized the president as religious — 55 percent and 60 percent, respectively.

Believes in the prosperity gospel for self and offspring. Actually, believes in prosperity that way. You can keep the gospel part.

How can a quarter of our nation be soooooo clueless

The man believes too in infection of a multitude if it squeezes out one more Trump vote from some rube in a maskless tightly packed crowd.

Also - He made a bigger investment in Stormy Daniels than in any church or church crowd.

And there he used a lawyer-cutout in hope of staying immaculate in eyes of faith mongers - even those of a pretend faith like Jerry Fallwall's son.

Wrong lawyer, it turns out when MAGA showed it stood for My Attorney Got Arrested. He'd have done better with Leonard Cohen as a cut-out instead of Michael Cohen, cause when it comes to singing, with Leonard you'd have obscurity in the song to deal with in divining meanings. Not Michael, who clearly sang multiple verses of his version of Art of the Deal.
