Peter Perovich, formerly a DFL SD 48 candidate, has mailed notice of his intent to seek DFL endorsement as Senate candidate in the new Senate District 35.

The Perovich website from last election is still online:

http://peterperovich.org/

The phone number and email address on that website should be good for any reader wanting to contact Perovich. And the mailing address is current, for anyone wanting to mail a contribution. (The address is more legible at the website than on the letter scan below.)

If you bookmark the site, be sure to see if Perovich later updates and uses it again or forms some new "Perovich2012" or similar site. Below is a scan, (the highest quality I could attain), of the letter Perovich sent to delegates expected to attend Friday's SD 35 DFL convention at Anoka High School [at Hwy 47 intersection with Hwy 116, southwest corner].

Those who attended DFL precinct caucus and sought to go as a delegate to the DFL Senate District Convention probably all have received the letter, but for others I am posting it because it reflects how Perovich is concise but thoughtful, in communicating.

While not a close or long-time friend, I have come to know Peter well enough to unconditionally support his candidacy, and to wish him well in his effort. The family likely again will ask Perovich for a yard sign when that time comes.

After supporting Peter and voting accordingly last election, I look forward to his gaining the DFL endorsement and campaigning this year.

If endorsed, Perovich shall run in the new Senate District 35, with no incumbent. (Redistricting has placed Republican Michael Jungbauer in new Senate District 31, thus leaving SD 35 an open seat.)
