Besides being one of Ron Carey's scorned six, my Rep. Jim Abeler broke ranks in voting for the Iron Range Cancer Study.

As a chiropractor he demonstrated trust and reliance in scientific study of medical issues, and he demonstrated sympathy for cancer deaths needing attention and explanation, each death being a family tragedy as well as a worker job site worry.
