To me, it stinks of wastefulness and stupidity. Give phantom federal money up to and likely beyond half a million taxpayer bucks, yet to be taxed, to the man's PET LAWYERS. Yet it's probably better than merely flushing it down a toilet because that much CASH would clog the best Crane fixture on the market.

This link. It is twelve pages long, but read as much as you need to agree or disagree with me about this.

King & Spaulding. Their website slogan:

Regular citizens and small businesses, find somebody else, this is a pond full of lawyers for the big fish. If you don't need a firm with branches in Abu Dhabi, London, Frankfurt or Moscow, you likely are not worth K-&-S's time or consideration. Your money likely is not green enough. You don't golf with the Speaker.

That firm looks big enough to stand alone without the man routing pork there with a mischief making intent.

If welfare for the already wealthy is the name of the game, do you think Zygi deserves any? Do you know a friend who has had a home foreclosed, or who had to negotiate a refinance in order to tread water?

What is this gentleman thinking? Why does he disdain honoring spending restraint? He surely gives enough lip service that way. But where's his heart? With King & Spaulding, and with half the Fortune 100, I'd guess.

Shoot the good dudes there half a mil' since they golf where YOU OR YOUR WIFE OR YOUR SON OR YOUR SMALL BUSINESS VENDORS AND CUSTOMERS could not even get in.
