Seattle Times endorses Harris for President.

 This link:

This editorial board supports Harris as the leader better able to tackle the major issues ahead: income inequality and wealth disparities, rising health and other costs, assaults on abortion rights and personal freedoms, global instability, and the growing threat of climate catastrophe.

[...] According to a fact sheet on her economic agenda, Harris will “direct her Administration to crack down on unfair mergers and acquisitions that give big food corporations the power to jack up food and grocery prices and undermine the competition …”

For a state fighting the proposed merger between Kroger and Albertsons, this is welcome news.

Since Trump announced his candidacy after descending on a golden escalator in the tower that bears his name back in 2015, he has repeatedly and consistently demonstrated that he is unfit to lead.

How he was able to turn the Republican Party into an instrument of his own ego will be the stuff of wonderment for future historians.

It didn’t have to be so. In the aftermath of the Jan. 6 insurrection, more than 33,000 registered Republicans left the party, according to an analysis by The New York Times.

Fast-forward to today, and Trump sits atop an organization purged of anyone disloyal to the brand. And that brand is based on lies, from election results to competing crowd sizes.

The [...] in the quote were paragraphs about the sanity of Harris politics; but the real message is that Trump is unfit and unacceptable to seasoned newspaper people. It is gloves off truth. From those who have seen and reported much.

Also of interest, second ticket spot, published by Daily Beast back in July -

I Grew Up in Appalachia Too. J.D. Vance Is a Hillbilly Phony

And, when the item displayed in my browser and seemed very true as I was reading, getting to page bottom the currently featured items were also worth reading, casting Trump in terms of what people in the Administration heard him say.

Check it out. Harris - we can hope she makes things better in the nation's Health and Pharma business segment, but simply hoping her Administration will equal Biden's is enough to resoundingly justify my already cast early vote for Harris.

It is Harris, normal, or Trump, disturbingly abnormal. It is that clear.

Both Trump and JD seem posing and selfish rather than legitimate people.

Would you trust either of the two to house-sit while you took a months long vacation? That they'd responsibly manage the house while you were gone?

Just saying that to bring home, why would any sane undeluded person trust them with a nation? If put it the White House, they'd fuck it up big time. We have seen Trump there once. Never again, please. Harris is sane and has good people around her to manage things as they happen. Read the Daily Beast items at the foot of the noted story. Read the full SeattleTimes endorsement.
