Lonely protest? Firey protest? Dumb step?

Washington Examiner said firey.

Vox said lonely.

Crabgrass says "dumb step." Right here. This line.

Examiner,

"President Trump will be found innocent; we will not tolerate it," Greene proclaimed, arguing that the government "weaponized" the justice system against Trump. "This is what happens to communist countries. ... We have to take a stand against the communist Democrats."

Greene quickly ticked through a list of political subjects, such as abortion, transgenderism, war, border security, and the economy, to juxtapose the GOP with the Democrats.

The event was organized by New York Republicans ahead of Trump's arraignment. Following his appearance in New York court, Trump is slated to head back to Mar-a-Lago to deliver a speech on the case against him.

Trump is believed to be facing over 30 counts in a case that reportedly stems from an alleged $130,000 hush money payment to porn star Stormy Daniels during the 2016 election cycle. The exact charges remain sealed.

After he [Trump] announced his impending arrest, searches for Daniels on the website Pornhub jumped 21,655%, according to the site's research and analysis branch.

[...] It is unclear what charges he will face, and he has signaled he will continue his 2024 bid for the presidency as he fights the case.

In an interview with Britain's Times newspaper on Friday, Daniels called the indictment "vindication" and referred to a vulgar comment Trump made in a 2005 recording in which he boasted about forcing himself on women.

"But it's bittersweet," she said. "He's done so much worse that he should have been taken down before. I am fully aware of the insanity of it being a porn star. But it's also poetic; this pussy grabbed back."

And that is what $130,000 bought Trump in a deal a touch worse than the Casino investments in New Jersey that all bankrupted.

Art of the Deal? Deals, yes. Artful? You decide.

__________UPDATE___________

Strib has placed online the unsealed indictment and, more informative, the Statement of Facts accompanying the indictment. It is all about hush money and falsified business records pertaining to the hush money. It indicts for State of New York offenses; not ancillary federal crime. That would be another shoe to drop (unless Biden were to pardon Trump on federal offenses - don't expect it).
