Forget for a moment email, consider Muslim Millions, and other slush slushed into the Clinton Foundation. Bernie, he took unemployment in the past, when entitled to it, and that is without any potential/actual conflicts of interest. He's done government work since then, but it's more like a baby-bunny-cute past story, and not like private funds or other governments' money slushing in staggering amounts hither and yon around a closely held Foundation - where some pro quo might be expected for those popping the quid.

Clinton slush, a few contiguous mid-item paragraphs from a WaPo item published online back in February, here;

United Arab Emirates, a first-time donor, gave between $1 million and $5 million in 2014, and the German government—which also hadn’t previously given—contributed between $100,000 and $250,000.

A previous donor, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, has given between $10 million and $25 million since the foundation was created in 1999. Part of that came in 2014, although the database doesn’t specify how much.

The Australian government has given between $5 million and $10 million, at least part of which came in 2014. It also gave in 2013, when its donations fell in the same range.

Qatar’s government committee preparing for the 2022 soccer World Cup gave between $250,000 and $500,000 in 2014. Qatar’s government had previously donated between $1 million and $5 million.

Oman, which had made a donation previously, gave an undisclosed amount in 2014. Over time, Oman has given the foundation between $1 million and $5 million. Prior to last year, its donations fell in the same range.

Who knows what range of scrubbed "personal" emails might relate to any of that. The claim being it is apart from any Secretary of State activity. That apparently is the claim. Cash influxes of that kind. Wholly apart from any Arab Spring happenings and State Department policy re the Arab Spring; or not. Who can say with emailings scrubbed per a quite ad hoc subjective and statistically biased criterion. Flavor that with haughty scoffing as if it should not matter to any but "enemies," and what low-life would not simply be calm and satisfied with an uttered "Trust Me."

Bernie's benefits, here. HuffPo published it at the end of May.

A range of compare and contrast online items, where if you missed them earlier, it is worth a look back, (they are not ancient stuff), here, a judgmental item here, Salon here (worth a read and a thought), back to HuffPo here, a HuffPo compare and contrast unfavorable to Clinton here, and two final HuffPo compare/contrast items, here, and here; where a common pro-Bernie thread runs through the several examples parallel to a Clinton-skeptic permeating mood.

And the Biden rumbling, getting Joe ready reminds me of the Lee Marvin preparing-for-the-gunfight scene from Cat Ballou. Unkind perhaps. A viewpoint influenced by my favoring Bernie, as to personality, consistency over time, willingness to go to the hustings and speak to crowds, and trenchant current policy.

Fault me if you like on this: Seeing Bernie as something like Rand Paul, but with a heart and compassion for enforcing a fair sharing of the pie. Not any hint of Ayn Rand bullshit.
