eric zaetsch: Why settle for Obama's or Hillary's lame policies, with Wellstone, Bernie and Elizabeth Warren as paradigms? Forget letting right wingers define and argue a narrow band of politics remote from Wellstone. Move the debate leftward for a saner, more humane and more decent state, nation and world. Healthcare IS a right, not a privilege of being employed. Also, redistribute the wealth, and tax the rich fairly instead of being lax lapdogs to their will. Tax all income on equal schedules, without preferential rates for capital gains vs. labor pay. Get rid of federal tax loopholes so that tax lawyers and tax accountants will have to retrain to find honest value-added jobs.
