"PAID," i.e., purchased.


Is it simple marking of territory? How much, paid by whom, to whom, and is anybody to any measured surprised? HH and JK know that detail, for certain. It arguably is a defining moment, as to independent journalism - the meaning of the term, its implementation, all that.
