Try this on for size: you need talented, intelligent, hard-working patriots who are willing to step up in the name of public service and do the hard work to get elected and turn conservative principles into public policy. At the risk of missing names, folks like Rhonda Sivarajah, Julie Braastad, Robyn West, Matt Look, Scott Schulte, Michelle Benson, Peggy Scott, Branden Petersen, Tim Sanders, and numerous patriots at the city council level (Donna Schmitt, Gary Kirkeide, Tom Johnson, Sheri Bakkila, Tony Howard etc.) have led the county into a new era of low taxes, low regulation, and less government that will prove to be exceptionally attractive to job creators.

Yeah:

Watchdog woofing. What else?

And now for something completely different:

Here, here, and here.

Those Brits. Look what they sell. It's good we have "patriots," who "prove to be exceptionally attractive to job creators," and not ... any of that other stuff.

Not in any measure. No. Not us. Not that.

Instead -- We have Eric Cantor and Grover Norquist.

Cantor seemed to agree with his colleagues at least on the revenue issue, saying that he stood with House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio), who recently told the White House that House GOP leadership was willing to consider new revenues, provided they came from the correct sources.

Nope. None of that stuff. No blowing smoke without stating all detail of a GOP plan.

It's, grabbing the deficit bull by the horns, yes.

In a patriots' way.

Take one deficit --- don't pay it down ---

Wrap it in a flag.
