Whack the poor, is Bachmann's message of what government should do.

Strib reporting, this link. Will some other Republican in CD6 step up and run in place of the nastily crazy witch? She's gotten her six years in Congress with the pension vested that way, so replace her and she'd probably care, because the pay's better than she's ever gotten otherwise.

But she likely would not care as much as if she'd needed more years in Congress to lock down a maximum pension. She did not get into grandstanding nationally until she'd gotten the six years locked in.

In the course of saying whack the poor, and things that the government does that she'd call "socialism" her pension is off the table. It's different. Not that it is something other than "socialism" to give exceptionally generous pensions to those who have been in Congress. But like the dairy farm payments to the Bachmann family. Your's is socialsim. Her's is cozy-fine.

Go figure.

Some, in Congress, earn their pay. This one ---

------------------------------

Compare Michele Bachmann's total shabbiness to Keith Ellison, and Obama, each telling House GOP leadership to put the BS aside and work on the need to restore economic health.

Ellison is gold to Bachmann's dross.

Please, politicians, redistrict me into Ellison's district so I can vote for a qualified person who also is a winner. Voting for a qualified person, Tarryl Clark, and seeing her lose to Bachmann was telling more about the District and those in it, than about either of the candidates.

____________UPDATE____________

Members of Congress receive retirement and health benefits under the same plans available to other federal employees. They become vested after five years of full participation.

Here, for that and more detail on benefits vesting for members of Congress. It doubtlessly was a factor on Bachmann's spending to defeat Tarryl Clark when Bachmann only had four years toward vesting going into that election.

Again, go figure.

Socialism is as socialsim does? Actions-vs-words, that old saying?

------------------------------

If asked, she'd probably say GOD advised her to lock in pension vesting before any presidential flittering and flirting. Her GOD is a practical one, one she shares with little pastor, Mac Hammond, who appears to have been told by GOD to accumulate airplanes, but to run ownership through the prosperity church's books.

You hire yourself an investment advisor. These special chosen have GOD doing the job. For free.

Special. Bachmann. Hammond.

Ask Ed Rollins if you don't believe me.

What do you think the big guy advised, on the dairy farm subsidies? Seek and you shall find - take and you shall enjoy?
