With Zygi grinning as if he'd just robbed a bank and gotten away with it, this cannot be good for Ramsey County taxpayers.

Zygi is a developer -- Zygi is Crabgrass.

Worth a thousand words?

Nonetheless, Strib reporting, here, and Strib opinion, here.

Read them. (While they continue to remain online.) That first item is subheadlined, "Billion-dollar plan faces obstacles at the Legislature. Money needed for major road improvements could be a problem." It reminds me of a burbling Strib feature a few years back, about Feges and Nedegaard causing a "billion dollar urban village" in Ramsey, and how they were self-assured they could do the whole thing without public money, were it to ever come to that.

Round number "billion dollar" price tags possibly might not be the best way to speak, promotionally.

The second Strib item, by sports writer P.Reusse, is headlined, "Ramsey Co. outhustled Mpls. in bid for stadium." If I were to write a headline in that direction, it might be, "Of the two, Ramsey County stood outside of Zygi's office with a bigger, softer mattress strapped to its back, yelling, 'Curb service, curb service!'" That IS the appearance of things.

Turning the old ammo plant, despite ground pollution, into a Zygi cash crop field; so, is there anything in the following diagram you do not understand? (Click to enlarge, if needed.)

Go Vikes.
