"Where are they now" screenshots - a modified post.

LOBBYIST TINKLNEBERG:

_________#####__________
What's interesting about Tink, he's been promoting paving with taconite tailings, at the Beard Group's site around Dayton-Rogers-Hassen including effort to get a federal highway interchange, federal transportation things, and promoting passenger rail ventures, a federally regulated thing, but he only registered federally as lobbyist for Ramsey, and then not personally, but via Tinklenberg Group. At the Minnesota level he registered for Hassen Maninstreet, LLC, the Gump related thing, but nothing else besides that and the Anoka County Regional Rail Authority [never registering at either level for his "Twin Harbors to Twin Cities" tub-thumping]. Consistency? A different word than Tinklenberg. WHY do you supposed he registered federally, for Ramsey with Ramsey getting its own little client number ID also? Who's to say. It would be speculation.

_____UPDATE_______
A puzzling thing about the Tinklenberg-&-Ramsey lobbying relationship is the big "goose egg" zero repeatedly showing up in things, e.g., here, here, here, and here.

Huh?

He'd billed over $800,000 to Ramsey, via Tink-Group, and "zero" as far as any reported lobbying income or expense, but the lobbyist-client registrations were put in place. What's going on? If any reader has an explanation please leave a comment or send an email.

Also, this just in, from Strib:

It’s full steam ahead on Minnesota rail plans --- With billions in stimulus money available, the governor says the state will study which projects to pursue, including a line to Chicago.
By PAUL LEVY, Star Tribune - update: April 3, 2009 - 11:34 PM

With $8 billion in federal grants for high-speed rail corridors and intercity passenger rail up for grabs, Gov. Tim Pawlenty on Friday ordered a statewide study to determine the best rail projects for which Minnesota should pursue stimulus funding.

Either Tink is now being shut away from the cash flow, or he will be filing yet more lobbyist-client stuff with the feds who will, with Oberstar chairing the committee, be doling out that purported $8 billion. For all the times he's mentioned Oberstar, on the record on the web, it's simply amazing he's never lobbied the man - or claims to not have done so. Yes, no, maybe?
