The thinking here is already clear. So I will not write more. But, video, I will use. Two old white guys, more successful than me but like minded have the opportunity to talk about another old white guy who none of the three of us like or respect. And it is election time.

The deliberation is in what order to use two clips. Total well under a half hour.

Gregg Popovich.

Robert DeNiro. Interviewed.

Talking about a real estate man New York bankers no longer lend to, to where he had to find and use Deutsche Bank. But who Elon Musk backs with money.

An enigma situation to both Popovicn and DeNiro. Shaped by his father Fred, tight with Roy Coen, Joe McCarthy's red scare lawyer, until Roy's death. Raising JD Vance from obscure to VP nominee but who sets the ticket conduct and prospects for himself to where who JD is is mystery, until we have JD at some point later standing as his own man.

Each of the YouTube items is by a successful white man. The links are above. Please watch, where the camera can show more than my written things.

We have a situation where we can do two video speeches, JD Vance in Madison Square Garden, and AOC days later, in Madison. WI. Decide whether each of them reach things you experience and identify with. And remember, I could have set thing up by using Rudy at the Garden, but Rudy is not where the nation could be headed. The two, below are. And Elon.

It is simple. Watch two video segments:

AOC in Madison, WI.

JD Vance in Madison Square Garden.

Throw in Trump's late gravitating billionaire, Elon. Overpaid to buy Twitter.

You're intelligent readers. Not billionaires. Smart enough that while Latino/Latina border crossing is the us-them thing being worked as an issue, (they bring their children which are not the brand of children JD wants us to envision). When they want real demons, they go Haitian. Black people. Eating white people's pets we are told. Moving into the white Ohio town, savagely. We are told.

It's a strange campaign issue posed that way, but they choose how they pose things. What they say.

AOC understands how to say what she wants to say, why and how. Also, a choice.

It works out fairly simply. Trust who is real.

Elon is accomplished. Bright. But does he reach at all near your trust button?

Two candidates head party tickets - Who is with them - What to expect. That helps flesh out a ballot.

For balance, a post by someone who liked the Garden rally, believing in it as best.

For people wanting Medicare for All, or at least Public Option with the Government given full leverage to negotiate Big Pharma down to size, NOTE THIS.

Hello, are you awake?

Senate Republican declares, ‘Kill Obamacare now,’ sends signal to health care voters

House Speaker Mike Johnson raised a few eyebrows this week, targeting the Affordable Care Act in ways most congressional Republicans tend to avoid. At a campaign event in Pennsylvania on Monday, the Louisiana congressman told a crowd there would be “massive” health care changes in the United States if Donald Trump returns to power. “Health care reform’s going to be a big part of the agenda,” the GOP leader added.

The House speaker has since claimed that he was taken out of context, but a video from the event doesn’t do him any favors. When an attendee asked at the event, “No Obamacare?” Congress’ top Republican leader replied, “No Obamacare.”

One far-right lawmaker on Capitol Hill was apparently pleased with the rhetoric. USA Today reported:

Other Republicans have continued pushing to end the health care legislation. Sen. Mike Lee, R-Utah, reposted Johnson’s comments on Thursday and wrote: “Kill Obamacare now.”

That's Mike Lee who worked at the same law firm as JD's wife, and earlier, Michelle Obama. It attracts high profile people, even healthcare bastards. Like Mike.

If you have not already voted for a better, saner, more compassionate America, please do so. Not that Harris has committed to universal healthcare, but that she will not rock the admittedly imperfect boat - Romneycare - formulated initially by Heritage Foundation in an earlier incarnation before Kevin Roberts' Heritage coup to the far, far, right Dark Side. (It being back then dark enough already.)

Obama saw that the reality facing him then was that the best he could get is what the Republicans said they wanted. When he gave it to them they freaked and are still freaking over it, failing to admit it was their own insincerely boosted thing, witness Sen. Lee freaking out over it.

Roberts deviled up the already sick far right Heritage beast to where the thing gave birth to Project 2025, the clear devil's spawn. Of which Roberts takes pride.

If you want a sincere Republican, good luck finding one. It's not Trump. He's a sick grifter-pirate who lies more often than he needs to - because he likes lying and taking fools for a buggy ride. Crypto candidate and such. Sneaker salesman.

Why the fuck bother? You are head of one of the two nationwide parties in the state, and you write of one of the two candidates, pejoratively, your candidate blessed in text. Why the fuck bother?

(It is an op ed worth looking at analytically, stylistically, but Ken Martin writing, you already know the theme - trashing Trump and boosting Harris. You just don't know Ken's chosen details.)

Is this an Editorial Staff not itself endorsing, but turning its Gestalt to Ken - in effect - an endorsing non-endorsement? It's stupid to do it backhand. But ...

Here is the headlining and lead photo and caption:

What evidence do we have that Trump is for us, not for himself?

Jan. 6, 2021, gave us the opposing evidence quite clearly.

A hit piece with an insult in the headline. What "us" is the dude focused upon, as state party head for The Democratic Party? Not me, since I am an independent because the party is too bloody conservative and allied to business interests, banks, and such. (progressive-hating Hakim Jefferies national party head for Christsakes)

Whatever us. Not me. Not anybody in the other party.

Now, tell me why Donald Trump cannot be in it for his party's base, his supporters and himself? It is natural that he be that, and from observation I fully believe he displays self-centered priorities, party and base next.

Clearly he's not in it for Ken Martin's party to get the spoils.

It really looks like a chicken-shit backhanded way for the editors to endorse Harris, which if intending that, they should be forthright in their actions.

Now - Crabgrass voted Harris, and views Trump as a sociopath. I.e., in agreement with most of what Martin wrote. But -- Emphasis on Jan 6, come on. There are numerous other reasons and saying "Jan 6" - once is enough for all but the very stupid, presumably those whom Martin has in mind as "us" when writing.

The whole thing, why the fuck bother? What is the worth of having a party chief in our fucked up two-party system say his candidate is best? What else would he say?

Yeah. Right. Super stupid. And then some.

................................

Yes, Crabgrass is clear on substantially lesser evil, even the way Harris was backed into the candidacy instead of Biden, who primary voters voted for. Yes it was manipulation of an offensive kind. But, two parties. One manipulates. The other nominates a criminal, fraudulent sociopath with JD having to adapt to where we have yet to learn who JD is, with hints, but hewing to the Trump Gestalt - all that leading to where lesser evil is a no-brainer, even while an evil.

UPDATE: Wikipedia has a listing of media outlet endorsements. The solid majority of papers endorse Harris. Experienced people know a risk when seeing one. Perhaps some really, really like Harris. Some do endorse Trump.
