Early voting, also known as "absentee" voting ROCKS! It's nice we have it, and more people may wish they'd used it.

NOTICE AND UPDATE:
SD35 Special Election Primary Results: After some web searching, for reader benefit: This SoS page is likely where aggregate polling results will be posted after the polls close and ballots are counted. "Likely" being the operative word, since Crabgrass is without guarantee or warranty of any kind.

Strib reports re our SD35 special election primary day:

Minnesotans heading out Tuesday morning will face the lowest windchills of the season, so low that the National Weather Service has issued a windchill advisory that is in effect until noon for all of central and southern Minnesota.

"The combination of below zero temperatures and northwest winds of 10 to 20 miles per hour will generate windchills of 25 to 35 degrees below zero," the weather service said.

As of 6 a.m., Lakeville had the lowest windchill in the metro area at minus 28 degrees.

After today's primary, there will be the final ballot for the special election for the person voted to serve the remainder of the present SD35 term. Early voting will be available, with links to be given in Crabgrass once posted by election authorities.
