Ramsey rail stop. Now the crossbar is up so we can kick field goals from the rail lines.

The first two images are from the morgue end of Veterans Drive.

The third photo is taken from the city hall plaza - Veterans Drive sidewalk area, somewhat east of the glassed in stair and elevator area at the ramp's southeast corner. The point was chosen far enough east to clearly see the rail span and how the support pillar is placed for the covered skyway to the ramp.

Surely thirteen million tax dollars, hustled from multiple taxing pockets, are consumed up front for this; but the booming ridership of Northstar, especially with fares cut, will pay it all off in months. That is, months after Ramsey's pigs fly.

However every cloud has its silver lining. It makes the Indiana man David Flaherty happy, so what's a mere few million to gain such a return? Happy enough to create a job or two in the construction trailers for the benefit of all in Ramsey. Some benefiting more than others but Animal Farm works that way.
