A time to cast away stones.

There are federal prisons, there is an Attorney General, there are regulators to fire if not indict. Corzine had a Goldman alum as one. Goldman Sachs time, cast away time, big time. Or vacate for Romney. It's a choice. Not that Romney's any threat to Goldman, a hand fitting in a glove being protective, not threatening.

_____________UPDATE______________
With Corzine positioned where he was, being who his history made him, and with the firm's collapse handled as it was, a key indicator of casting away stones vs. whitewashing, entails looking as much at who gained what vs who lost, it being true, "Derivatives, unlike stocks where the equation has always been murky, are for the most part zero-sum products: one's gain is someone else's loss, ...". The public may be thought dummies, but Obama and Holder, however they act (or not), would not be functioning out of ignorance. Loss, and a crying towel and band-aid relief for farmers doing crop risk hedging, without more, on duly scrutinizing the gain side, is suspect. Perhaps the Republicans, seemingly silent now, are consciously holding back - it being then a matter of timing and not disinterest. Perhaps they've the same or similar friendships in their way that so far has been apparent. Friendships of those who gained probably will not get much election year attention, but that would be the fault of the press, not because what happened is "too arcane."
