TPM notes Norm Coleman's unusual reticence, and DFL'er commentary about it.

What inferences do you draw, from this reporting?

Has he been talking to Laurie Coleman about it? Any conversations with Nasser? With the Hays folks? With the house remodel crew? Any liens filed for that work, or were all the contractors and subs duly paid?

Some people went under oath about what went on with money from that firm in Houston.

Hays has nobody who has gone on the record under oath.

Nasser Kazeminy has not gone on the record under oath.

Neither of the Coleman spouses have gone on record under oath.

At least as far as any public disclosure goes, that's so.

It is a federal crime to lie to an FBI investigator; hence the best thing is to decline to talk to them. Perhaps that's what Norm did - so that the question of whether he'd spoken to the FBI is not the point as much as whether the FBI requested an interview. Just a thought.
