A confident candidate, today, on primary day. And be sure to vote.

The Franken campaign email of the day, (hopefully my attempt to carry over the original hotlinks will work):

Dear Friend,

And don't forget to join us at our general election kick-off rally tomorrow! It'll be from 9:30-10:30am Wednesday at the Paul and Sheila Wellstone Center (179 Robie Street E., St Paul, 55107 - View Map). To RSVP for the rally, please contact Amber at amber@dfl.org or 612-558-2309.

Best,

Somehow, it may be just me reading it funny, but I see in communicating that planning and scheduling, a message for Priscilla Lord Faris.

______POST PRIMARY UPDATE________
The Minnesota Secretary of State website reports that Franken took 65% of the DFL state-wide primary vote to 30% for Lord Faris. Given how late she entered, and Franken being a high-quality candidate also having the DFL endorsement, Lord Faris made a quite credible showing. But Franken proved correct in scheduling a time-to-move-on-to-the-general-election session for the day after primary voting. And I, as a Franken supporter, proved correct by figuring he'd win even with me crossing over to vote in the GOP primary, since there were some really egregious candidates there I wanted to vote against.
